CASE STUDY
A. Personal Data
My client name is Andrei Cosmo Moynihan. He is 11 years old. He is now studying in CSA in Makati City. He is now residing in his father together with his grandparents in Dasma Village in Makati.
B. Joining Process
I want to be his sister and teacher in one because I don’t want him to get pressured dealing with his problem. I want us to have a normal relationship as brother and sister.
C. Presenting Problem
Based on his teacher, grandparents and former tutor he is a slow learner. He is naughty but sweet.

I think the event that really affects him is when his parents broke up and ha needs to live with his dad.

He is the youngest son in the side of his mother, while in his father he is the 3rd son.

He can say that he is good looking, smart in science, good in soccer, and he know that he is one of the heart throb in their school. He also admitted that he is naughty and can be easily distracted.
v Relationship
Based on what I observed, he is really a slow learner and even though he had his family with him but the presence of his loved ones is not present at all. He is less fortunate when it comes to attention of a family.
v Action
You have to remind him from time to time on the things that he is supposed to be doing.
A. Theoretical Framework
Based on Vygotsky theory the environment of the child is one of the factors that affects his/her development. It depends on the environment of the child whether he/she will be going to develop well or not. Based also on Piaget that the cognitive development of the child should be appropriate with his chronological age.
A. Prognosis
Based on my observations I have proved that the problem stated by other person is true. He is a slow learner.
B. Therapeutic Plan
· Knowledge- to be more responsible to his responsibilities as a student especially when it comes to his study habit.
· Skills- to know how to have proper hygiene.
· Attitude- to have a better relationship with his father, to make it as a routine.

D. Therapeutic Results
My objective in knowledge, skills, and attitude are somehow successful because we are able to obtain it with my client. So far, so good he was able to show changes in a small time. He also shows development step-by-step.
E. Summary/ Recommendation
My client had a problem regarding with his studies. He is a slow learner and he also lock of attention especially with his family. He lives with his dad but they don’t have the relationship of father and son. His chronological age is 11 years old but his thinking or the development of his thinking is in the age of 7-8 years old. But in this case he shows development in his studies and behavior. He just needs to be supervised from time to time in order for him to have routine.
F. Implication to Education
This case study can be a guide for us in the future because with this, we are able to know our pupils especially those who have problem. We can now the roots of those problems that are student have. By this also, we will know what strategies or therapeutic intervention we have to do in order for us to address the needs of our student.
